  • Fibromyalgia Action UK:
    provides information and support to sufferers of FM and their families. In addition, the Association provides medical information for professionals and operates a national helpline.

    M.E. Support:
    this is a very useful web site offering extensive information, advice and support for those with ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis).

    Action for ME:
    a charity dedicated to improving the lives of those with ME/CFS by offering information and telephone support.

    National Fibromyalgia Association (NFA):
    offers information about FM, its symptoms and treatment, ongoing research and has an online chat facility.

    Sleepydust Video:
    This is a very good 10 minute video giving basic information about what its like to live with ME. This would be very good for friends and relatives of newly diagnosed sufferers to see. Don't forget to turn the sound on first.

    A good source of information and support for people with ME and Fibromyalgia.

    Pacing:
    Action for ME web site offers information about Pacing and a downloadable booklet: for people with ME but probably applicable for FM too.

    Optimum Health Community:
    free social networking site where you can get support from people all over the world who have ME.

    Some diet advice for people with ME:
    this suggests several foods that are particilarly beneficial to people with ME.

    Freedom from ME:
    this is part of the Optimum Health Clinic setup. The site offers a range of free information and advice on managing ME.
